Hi Kim,

We also use the zevex enteralite. We have never used the prefilled

packages as just doesn't get that much formula (even

overnight).

As for the dose done beep, 's pump has NEVER beeped at dose

done. For us, that is perfect since he is mainly on the pump

overnight and we wouldn't want the pump to beep when it is done,

just stop. His pump is supposed to stop at 6:30 am and he doesn't

need to get up until 7:30.

We have occasionally had beeping problems, but since he really

doesn't use a backpack anymore they have stopped. Also, we clean

the sensors with rubbin alcohol.

Good luck,

hi Kim

We have never used pre filled bags, although I have seen them used

in hospitals.

Liam has a set dose overnight and I have never wondered at whether

the entralite does deliver the correct dose, its something I might

check tonight though, and I will get back to you. i have heard it

said that if the line has been used a few times it stretches and

wont give the correct dose.

Good luck

Kim-

I don't know about the prefilled bags but they sound great! About

the pump beeping. You can program it to beep when the dose is done

or not to beep. Call Zevex and they will tell you how...super easy.

I used to know how. I just tried w/ our pump and can't remember.

About not getting the proper dosage, I would also call them about

that. I have a GREAT contact at Zevex as we've had many problems and

have gotten about 4 new pumps in the past year. If you have problems

getting through let me know at jenyfer (AT) teamlapish (DOT) com and I'll give

you his name & direct number.

Hope this helps-
