Guest guest
I am trying to make coconut yogurt and need some advice. The only sugar I am allowed to have per doctors orders are berries. He specifically stated no honey, no agave, no molasses or maple syrup. What can I possibly put in the yogurt to feed the bacteria. Should I try and puree some berries to add? I have the GI prohealth starter.Hmm, I'm not sure. You could try! You could also add dates to the yogurt as a sweetener instead of honey, though I'm not sure that would be any better. The honey/dates would be pretty much eaten by the bacteria though, so I'm not sure there would be that much left. Guest guest
Sorry all. Having computer issues here. Mara,Do you think the honey would be safe to use in the yogurt with candida issues? Do you think the pureed berries would be sufficient enough to feed the bacteria? Thanks Sharon > > > Hi everyone! Guest guest
Hey Sharon, I think it would be okay - but I'm not sure. Maybe make just a cup or two with berries as sweetener and see what happens. Also coconut has sugar in it as well, so there is that as well. Mara > Sorry all. Having computer issues here. > > Mara,Do you think the honey would be safe to use in the yogurt with candida issues?
