Hi,

While I have not tried Manuka a lot of folks find it helpful.

While traveling I found Lehua Blossom honey, and it too is not like

other honey, much less sweet, unusual taste, and it seemed to prevent

an impending sinus infection. The one I had-- and happily have found

again now that I am back home, is Lehua Blossom Honey from Garden of

Life. Or wonderful local shop has it, as does Amazon. It is a

little pricey, however much less than Mauka-- on the other hand,

Manuka has been researched. I have only my own experience w the Lehua.

Manuka honey? It's not black. It's in a dark container but the honey

itself is a dark amber. That said, I use buckwheat honey sometimes for

a more molasses type flavour and it's almost black and still just

fine. I like manuka honey. I think it's actually helped me heal a bit.

The taste is different than most honeys I try. I wasn't sure I liked

it at first but I quite enjoy it now.
