christopher's dr h visit yesterday

hey everyone!!

well we had christopher's 3 month check up with dr h yesterday and

it went very well after we finally arrived there!! we left at 7am

and the 1 1/2hr drive to NYC took us 4hrs!!! yes that is right, it

was a traffic nightmare yesterday!! part of the problem was the

path train in seccacus was donw so i guess more people drove into

the city for work. luckly dr h was running an hour behind because

we didnt get there until 10:45 and our appt was at 10am!!

well dr h was very pleased with christopher's progress since she

started seeing him last april!! he has put on 5lbs and grew about

2 " just from the caloric cath up growth!! he actually even has some

sub fat now as well!! he is now at his peek and we are restarting

his ght tonight!!! i am so happy with how well he is doing and i am

glad to see he has peaked and that is why he hasnt really gained or

grew lately!! she expects him to be 1 SD from his target height by

the time he starts kindergarten in the fall of 2006 and b on track

for his target height by the time he starts 1st grade!! i ahve to

go to the store today to get him a new calendar and stickers so he

has it when we start his shots tonight. she upped his periactin as

well!! we also got a chance to meet 2 other parents and their

children that have rss in the waiting area. it was nice to sit

there and talk to other people with kids that have the same DX. i

dont want to post their names but i know they read our post and just

want to say i hope their appts went well and their flights back home

did as well (one was from WA and one from MN). wish us luck tonight

its been almost a year since he has had his ght shots so we will see

how it goes!!
