Getting upset over heated exchanges

You know, there was a time when I would get angry as hell over traffic

jams. I'd just sit there fuming, cussing, completely preoccupied with my

frustration that things weren't going as smoothly as I would have liked.

At some point, I don't know when, I decided to try to " go with the

flow " . Upsetting myself over something that other people were doing (ie.

Driving like idiots :-) <g>) didn't do a thing to speed them up, and

served only to increase my stress level. It did a world of good for me

to adjust my attitude. I highly recommend it. Stressing over things you

can't control only hurts yourself, and all the screaming in the world

won't make others do your bidding. No offense intended in this message

-- only an attempt to give a little perspective. The old saying " use the

delete key " , albiet trite, is certainly apt in these circumstances.
