Guest guest
I found distraction works well with , too. He has these little Marvel action figures that I allow him to have when he's eating. If he refuses to take the next bite, he loses the figures, and earns them back one at a time by taking bites. When I told his OT that I felt like I was " bribing " him to eat, she told me that they no longer use that word. It's " rewarding " him with play. LOL So much for old-fashioned parenting, huh?? She said another way to look at it, is " whatever works " ! Guest guest
Isaac loves Noggin..especially Seasame Street. When I admitted that I use TV to get him to eat the OT said that it was OK..like rewarding and if it helps go for it. I am worried that I am teaching bad habits but at this point we do whatever it takes! Mimi mom to Isaac > I found distraction works well with , too.
