Guest guest
Kim - Just for clarification, that formula is for children who do NOT have RSS. There are two formulas -- they give a prediction of what our children should have been without having RSS (this is called " target height. " ) If a girl: subtract 5 inches from dad's height; add this to mom's height and divide by 2. If a girl: add 5 inches to mom's height; add this to dad's height and divide by 2. OPTION B: Add mom and dad's heights together and divide by 2. Subtract 2 inches for a girl and add 2 inches for a boy. Both methods come pretty close to each other. For predicting our own children's heights, go back to the message I just sent. Hope this helps! > > , > > The formula to predict potential height without growth hormone is based on the parent's > height.
