Guest guest
Hi, I am having my Surgery on October 29th at Mt. Sinai with Dr. Pomp, and he doesn't remove the Gall Bladder either, and he told me the same thing that Herron told you...He also said that he would put me on Actigall in the beginning to prevent problems. As for the Pre-op tests,- Endoscopy, Sleep Study, Bloodwork. My insurance paid for everything...Just make sure you get a referral if you need one for your insurance. I have Empire Healthchoice which is a subsidiary of B/C B/S and they paid... They also just approved my BPD/DS Surgery on Monday...(YIPEEEEE!!!!) It took just 3 days from the day they sent in the request! And the doctor didn't even mention any of my co-morbidities ( Asthma, sleep apnea, back problems etc). Which Nutritionist did you see at Mt. Sinai?... As far as the Vita4Life vitamins and liquid protein...The Nutritionist I saw at MtSinai- Meredith Urban said that the Vita4 Life would be fine...I brought her copies of all the info and ingredients. She even gave me 2 samples of the Liquid protein to try. She said that I could take the Vita4Life for the first few months and after they check my blood work they would tell me If I needed anything else or if the Vita4Life was enough. I hope this answers some of your questions...If you have any more, just e-mail and I will try to help...Hugs... -- In duodenalswitch@y..., " Mia " <caramianyc@a...> wrote: > Hi, > > I am having my Surgery on October 29th at Mt.
