Epsom Salt Baths?

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of epsom salt

baths as being a chelator? Since it contains sulfur,

and kids with heavy metals poisoning tend to be

lacking in sulfur, do the baths somehow pull the

metals out of them?

My son has been GFCF for one year, since he was 9

months old. We have recently started giving him Creon

at meals and he is now eating normal foods without any

problems. I didn't give him Creon at all yesterday,

and he had a cheeseburger, cheetos, and a twinkie (I

know, junk food, but I'm letting him live a little

right now, these are things that he's never had). I

gave him an epsom salts bath, and no night waking with

a bellyache, and so far, no screaming and

hyperactivity. This is a child who had severe

reactions to even one pretzel a few months ago.

I am supposed to be chelating him with DMSA right now

for heavy antimony and arsenic poisoning, as well as a

small amount of lead and mercury poisoning. I removed

the sources of antimony and arsenic poisoning early in

the summer (pajamas, bedding) and things have greatly

improved since then. I really would rather not do the

DMSA, he's so small, so if anyone can tell me about

any information about epsom salt baths doing any

chelation activity, please let me know. We had been

told by Dr. Bill Sardi, a medical journalist on the

West Coast, that eating sulfur rich foods is a natural

chelator, so that's what made me wonder about the

baths.
