Guest guest
jodi, thank you for your kind words. you remind me that in the end no matter what i have tried. i am guessing that i have a good doctor but idon't think he has really delt with a child just like mine how i wish we could go to see dr.h or at least have her guidence. my gi won't up his peractin and said he is grown onthe normal curve for weight gain how can you tell if the med are work i so want to tell him well yuo would really see they were working if you would move up the doseage i wanted to say duuuuuu. iam hope jacob really know i do the best i can maybe we will have more after the convention as always you and max a your word do give me hope. thanks cara mom to jacob fretting over the inevperance of my doc and hoping to better educat them Jodi Zwain wrote: Oh, Cara, please tell not to fret! We worried so much about Max and his lack of growth on gh. Dr. H. said he was gh resistant and gave us little hope of his reaching our goal of 5'3 " . (Hers was 5'6 " ) I cried, I tried making deals with God, my husband and I spoke long into the nights.... We were terrified that Max would never be in the normal range for height and would be upset after all he had endured to grow, digest food properly, and even to get his psyche in a better place. Now I am so happy to say that he is 5'3 " and it seems like it all happened overnight. We stuck with it and, even though it's been tough, it has paid off. Keep on doing what you are doing. Tell that there is always hope. He is 8 years old and there is plenty of time for him to grow and develop and be what he wants to be. I know it gets discouraging, but he will get there. He is lucky to have you for a mom. You are doing everything you can to help him. You, like us, can never look back and say you did not try!
