If you get in a situatition where you must do stairs. In rehab, we were told to decide which is our stronger leg. Step up with that leg and exhale as you do so, bring the other leg up, but lead off on all steps with the stronger leg. do the remaining steps the same way exhaling and leading with the same leg. Not alternating legs. On the 4th step stop, and exhale and take a rest for a second or so. And Go SLOW. I usually take a slight stop on each step. It does help. Marcia
