Guest guest
The only thing that concerns me is on the top right hand corner it clearly states DAIRY! The company stated that it is not 100% GFCF. Sharon
Guest guest
I was going to say that cocoa butter is a dairy product....maybe that is why it is his favorite treat. Guest guest
No way! Cocoa butter is not a dairy product! On page 62 of Special Diets for Special Kids, describes it as coconut oil and recommends replacing butter or margarine in recipes with 3/4 the amount with unprocessed organic coconut butter. Guest guest
Neither coconut butter nor cocoa butter are dairy products. Coconut butter has anti-fungals in it, however, whereas cocoa butter might contain fungus (depending upon whether they take the cocoa butter out of the cacao beans before or after they ferment them to make chocolate.) Guest guest
Yes, this is OK. I have used it many times, and in my opinion, it is the best GFCF brownie mix out there. It tastes like the REAL THING,not like chocolate flavord sand. in FL > I forgot to call the Gluten-Free Pantry during regular business hours this > week to determine GFCF status of their chocolate truffle brownie mix. Guest guest
I believe this is not correct. Cocoa butter, to my understanding, contains no dairy. Please someone correct me if I am wrong. in FL > I was going to say that cocoa butter is a dairy product....maybe that is why > it is his favorite treat.
