We go the CT in ndale, VA but I've heard a lot of good things about CT in Charlotte. Starting at 4 months, you should see results fast. Do you know how severe your son't plagio is?

Hi,

I agree with everyone that you should see results quickly. Avery got her Doc band at 6 months and she's showing so much improvement that they think she may be out of the band sooner than they thought.

I was also kind of dreading doing this, but at the same time wanted to get it over and done with, but I have to admit that it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Avery adjusted quickly, and we've all (including family and friends) gotten so used to it, that we don't even think about it anymore. I hope this helps you feel better about doing this.

My son (10 months) has been in DOC band since Jan 12th and it will be coming off this Friday!!!! 4 month total and no need for a second band. He had severe plagio and his head is great now! we are soo happy we did it. we used CT in Paramus and they were great!

Hey Leila!

I've looked at your daughter's blog and she is ADORABLE!

I'm pretty sure Violet's plagio is in the " severe " range. It's very noticeable

from the back and side. There doesnt seem to be any asymmetry with her cheeks

or forehead, but there is a little with her ears and eyes.

Thank you! It does make me feel more at ease to hear when it goes well. For a

couple of days when we first started looking into it, I thought maybe we should

wait. Now, we've decided to go ahead and do it for her sake.

Anybody have tips on decorating the band??

(i hope that doesnt sound too vain asking that question)

If I were you, I would go forward with treatment then. Summer time is approaching and it's too bad, but you will be glad you did it. The DOC band really works and that's the bottom line.
