Hi Everyone! First I'd like to welcome all you newbies. You have found a great

bunch of people to help you through this crazy journey we all share.

Thanks for all the pictures posted from the Chattanooga trip. It was great to

see so many familiar faces and some new ones too. I wish I could have gone but

it just wasn't in the cards.

I haven't posted in a while but I have been lurking quietly and reading your

posts. Looks like you have all been very busy and have a lot of creative ideas

going.

I got one of the best gifts ever from my husband recently. He found a backpack

for my O2. It was a complete surprise! Standard black bag that had some grey

cord as zipper pulls and zig zag tension pull in the front. We figured out how

to switch the cording out. And for those of yhou who know me a little probably

know with out me saying that the new cord I used is PINK. Of course I added my

silver skull and cross bones clip w/ pink jewels! I just love my new O2 bag! I

don't curse nearly as much as I did when I was using the shoulder strap bag from

Apria.

There hasn't been much going on around here. I've been sleeping unusually long

hours during the day. Sometimes till 2pm. Showering has become more of a chore.

My oxygen needs have increased beyond exertion only. I understand what is

happening and am thankfull to have had a break from the progression for a while.

I'm still expecting to have my LapBand surgery within the next month or so

providing my upcoming PFT results are acceptable.

Peggy, I want to tell you how proud I am of you for the courage and strength

you've shown. I'm amazed at the grace with which you approach even the largest

of battles. I'm so happy the morphine has helped. It's great to know you are

getting some releif. You, and the kids are welcome to call if you ever need

to talk.
