Guest guest
Dayna, I have never taken Ian out to CMH South. He sees everyone downtown and even that has changed so much since he first started going to the doctor! His orthopedic doctor is actually right across the highway from CMH South. Ian was a very social toddler and was in daycare since I worked full time. He went to a daycare where they had " normal " and special needs kids. He loved it and I have to say that most of the staff was really great and loved him too. One of his teachers then was a student who was studying special education. She is now a Spec Ed teacher at his school. He doesn't remember her,but she remembers him. We didn't get a services for Ian since he was doing so well. His OT/PT, feeding clinic issues were all thru our insurance and out of pocket for us. He didn't even qualify for the 1st Steps program. Does Alyssa receive any services? I used to post frequently in the beginning. It is nice to know that there are others out there who understand what you're talking about and you can ask them questions about things. I don't post like I used to,but I will still scroll down thru the messages on a regular basis. So, feel free to post something or e-mail me. We will definitely have to meet in person one of these days. Missy
