Guest guest
Hello everyone – I am not a regular poster but try to read all the " goings on " in the list serve to keep myself updated and informed… Some time back I made my first post telling everyone about my daughter Madeline (age 9 turning 10 in April). She was diagnosed very late with RSS and we are now playing catch-up with all the available information that we have been given through the Chicago Convention – meeting with Dr. H (in Chicago) – Now working with a new Endo here in Milwaukee. We are looking at starting GH March 3rd and have been informed that we will be using Humatrope. I have a couple of questions for all of you experts out there.. I understand that there are a few different types of GH out on the market – would Humatrope be more commonly used and is one better then the other? I have gone on the web site and see that this Humatrope uses a pen to administer the shots. I am familiar with a devise (because of a friend that has a son with juvenile diabetes) called Inject-ease that automatically delivers the needle through the skin and makes for a less stressful injection. Can this be used in place of the Humatrope pen? I am sure that I will be able to ask all of these questions when we go for our appointment in March but I have learned from experience that it is better to talk to the families who are dealing with this on a daily basis. Thank you in advance for answering my questions! Sincerely, Jenni Vetter
