Kim,

No wonder he gagged - the stuff smells like Elmers glue. We mix it

in the bag with his formula, worked wonders for us. S.

Kim,

I don't see why you can't mix it with his formula in the bag.

Max mixes his with orange juice. In the hospital we mixed it with

apple juice. He does not seem to mind the taste, though. It just

makes the juice a little bit grainy if we don't mix it well enough.

I always put it through the tube. I mix it into his 8 pm bolus. I

am currently mixing just over 1 teaspoon of miralax with 65 ml of

formula. We then hook up his pump for his overnight feeds at 8:30.

I remember reading some site that said no pasteurized milk, but

don't know why. But I do know that I take Miralax as does .

We mix it with orange juice that has pulp. I put it in a small cup

with a spoon, and we stir it. We then can't taste the Miralax. We

don't use 8oz of liquid. Can't drink that much. I put 's

1/2 cap (8.5mg) in maybe 3-4 ounces. and I drink my full cap (17mg)

in about 4-6 ounces. I tried water, GAG. I tried other juices,

GAG. Orange juice is the one thing that disguised the texture (it

is tasteless).
