Guest guest
I had a bad experience similar to that when I was pre-op. We had my cousin, his wife, and their kids over for dinner one night. I was sitting in my chair, not moving and not rocking, when the chair just crumpled under me. The chair was a solid wood chair and was pretty strong (or so I thought). I felt so embarrassed as I lay on the floor stuck in the broken chair. I also had an experience of being at a family party for my husband's family. I sat on a plastic chair and it bent so much that it broke the plastic. My mother-in-law (who must weight about 10 lbs.), called my husband later that week remarking about how concerned she was about my weight. Ugh! At least I don't break chairs anymore. Kathy M.
