We eat Shelton's chicken, beef and turkey hot dogs, and they taste pretty

good. My favorites are the big 4-to-a-pack smoked turkey dogs. They don't

taste " health-foody " at all. I never did like soy dogs.

Good luck,

Debbie

I am interested in getting away from the Meyer Beef Hotdogs bc

they seem to cause headaches and then hyperactivity in my child. I

don't know why, but assume it is the additives. Anyway, I looked at

the Applegate Farms site. For hotdogs,I would be interested in the

beef hot dogs. Has anyone tried them? How are they? What about the

other meat-bacon, lunch meats? Anything wonderful? Do they keep well

in the freezer or fridge? I was shocked at the shipping rates-pretty

high if I remember correctly, so I want to order a large amount, but

am afraid to without some opinions on the taste! I know I can get

Sheltons Hot Dogs at my HFS, but hear everyone talk about Applegate

Farms more frequently. I assume they taste better? Also, if I get the

AF beef hotdogs, do they taste " funny " compared to Meyer-which

my child LOVES and could eat a whole pack if allowed? In other words,

did it take your children several " exposures " to the healthier hot

dog to get them to like it, like it did with soy milk, soy cheese,

etc...You know what I am talking about!!!! I still am trying to get

used to the taste of soy.

Thanks,

Janelle
