Frequent Swallowing

Dalia has been on reflux medicine for over a year now and things have

been pretty good. She takes Prilosec and is on the highest dose

possible according to her GI doctor (4 ml, 2x/day).

She also started Periactin several months ago. In the last month or

so I have noticed that she swallows frequently, especially after

drinking her bottle. It looks like she is trying to avoid spitting up.

Could this be the reflux breaking through? I heard that Periactin can

make reflux worse...maybe this is what is happening.

Anyone else have this problem and solve it?

Sheryl (Dalia, SGA, 17 months, 16.5 lbs, 27.5 in, Prilosec, Periactin,

Mirilax)
