Guest guest
Hi there, I have read a lot and have done it all as far as repositioning while my baby was very young. However, I could not find info about the following. When a baby starts rolling and sleeping on his tummy, does it matter what side his head is turned to or what cheek he is on. Mild flatness on left side. No tort. Also, as far as side sleeping: what side should it be to deal with the minor flatness. Even though it is said that repositioning after certain age is not effective as babies move a lot and reposition themselves, I find my child, an older baby, in the same position for hours since I go to bed much later and check on him. Anyway, I thought I will ask on what side the pressure should be etc as far as tummy sleeping and side sleeping. As far as side sleeping I came across an information it should be flat side so that gravity can do the job. Not sure how valid it is. Also would you recommend any particular pillows for a child after 12 months with minor flatness. Thank you, Inna
Guest guest
Some people do succeed with repo and older babies...it just depends on the baby and the mom. The child should sleep on the prominent (non-flat) side. The hard mattress pressing on the head will do more damage than any benefit you would get from gravity. -christine sydney 2.5 yrs starband grad > > Hi there, > > I have read a lot and have done it all as far as repositioning while my > baby was very young. Guest guest
Thanks, ! Would you recommend a pillow (any particular kind) so there is less contact with the hard surface?
