Guest guest
, I have terrible excema in the winter. I was told by my doctor that this is not unusual for people with asthma. And I sure do have asthma! Anyway, I have found that only two lotions work for me: Gold Bond and Aveeno. I cannot use anything with lanolin. Immediately my hands begin to itch, they break out in bumps that blister and then the peeling starts. It's awful. One way I control it is by always keeping lotion on hand. I have it in my purse, in almost every room of the house and by my bed. I put it on after washing my hands, after a shower, before bed and anytime inbetween. I sympathize with Colin-. It can be really itchy and uncomfortable. (Elidel, by the way, did nothing and sometimes aggravated it for me.) Oh - I use only Dove soap. That seems to be less irritating. The antibacterial things are too drying and seem to add to the discomfort. Jodi Z
