Guest guest
Hi everyone - I don't know if anyone truly appreciates the magnitude of the Guidebook project. I certainly didn't when I started it one year ago. Having now read 130 different medical journal articles and logging all of the data into a database ... I have finished the first 40 written pages of the Guidebook!!!! Yahoo!!!! I finished the Welcome, Introduction, How to Diagnose RSS vs SGA, How is RSS/SGA Caused and the big section -- Characteristics and Functional Abnormalities of RSS and Short SGA Children. I wanted to give you guys the update in case people thought the project had fallen into a big hole.... However, I still have a lot to write. And this is just the rough draft. My dear partner Katy Frissora is now being emailed the first section so she can cut it to pieces and put it back together again in a better format from the original. I honestly don't want to commit yet to when it will be done. I am learning to take it one day at a time, and keep writing.... But I do believe now that this will be a monumental piece of information, one that I wish we had when we were given the RSS diagnosis. There is NO WAY that I could take on this project without so many volunteers helping in different sections. Thanks to everyone.
