Strawberry Cake Recipe Needed

I need ideas for a strawberry cake.  The carrot kugel worked pretty well as far as 'cake-like' but not sure if it will work with strawberries.

 

It's my birthday later this month and I'd rather not go through the 'cake' issues (we're already having Easter food issues). 

 

I'm open to other (not too difficult pls) ideas.  I need to forage ingredients.

 

I have coconut butter if I could work that into a nice frosting but even that isn't necessary.  I have in mind something like a kid's strawberry cake with strawberry frosting (all pink-ish).
