avoiding soy

Hey there,

I have only removed casein and gluten from my son's diet. The results of

removing dairy were more readily obvious, but the gluten is not. In fact he is

8 now, and we have been off dairy since three. BUT, I have gone back and forth

with the gluten thing. We were gluten free for over a year, and we just didn't

seem to see a change. So, we added it back. However, I am following the DAN

protocol and chelating, so it is recommended we be back on the gluten free diet

again. So, here we go again. But still, I maintain that there is not much of a

difference if any. He has always slept through the night, but off of gluten, he

sleeps until 7am instead of 6am. Slight change. So, maybe I need to consider

the soy. Our culprits are soymage cheese, Willow Run margarine, Van's gluten

free waffles, and the GFCF choc chips from Gluten free Pantry (we use as little

reinforcers in ABA). What are some good alternatives to those??

Trina,

Miss Robens has chocolate pieces which are GFCF and also free of soy.

Call 1- if you need a catalog. There are LOTS of GFCF/soy

free products in the catalog.
