Guest guest
Hi Berra, The generic name for Periactin is Cyproheptadine. Can you ask your doctor for a perscription for the liquid form of Cyproheptadine. Here in the USA it is a very old drug. It first came out in the 1950's. There is a Dr. Wolman in Germany who has done a lot of work with RSS and SGA children. I do not know exactly where he is. You know better than I that Germany is a very big country. He spoke at the Magic Convention here in the US about 3 years ago. Maybe the Magic Foundation can help you locate him. He might be close enough for you to go see him. The Magic Foundation can be located at http:// www.magicfoundation.org I hope this helps. Ken M > > - Good luck - yes, 1/2 hour is the recommended timing of the Periactin. It does seem, though, that for it takes more like 1 1/2 hours to set in??? I know that Autumn is a little younger than , but I taught the sign for " eat " - she will sign this to me when she is hungry - this has helped us with the " timing " . Just an idea we have used that is finally paying off. also uses the sign for " more " - again, another helpful tool at mealtime. I hope the changes in the timing and dosage are beneficial to her. Keep me posted. Jane, mom to - periactin, zantac > >
