Guest guest
Jenn, Yes the GI did prescribe 17 grams/day for . I was planning to give it to him every other day, so would that be the equivalent of half the dose? Then, I tried to give him half that amount to see if that would dissolve easier in the feeding bag, but it didn't make a difference. gets 750ml in one bag overnight. Pat suggested that I warm it, so maybe I'll try that tonight. I can't answer the question about how immediate the effect should be from Miralax, but in the past, anything has taken hasn't made much difference. Guest guest
Will you ask the doctor the next time you see him, just to confirm that he wants on a full adult dose every day? It would make me feel better. I don't have a lot of experience with prescribing Miralax and maybe there is more flexibility than I am familiar with ... on a different note, I wish you luck in getting it to dissolve for the bag!
