Maddy is finally home

Hello everyone,

We came home from the hospital last night and we're in NYC to see Dr. H

by 3pm today.

after 15 min of being disaplined she calmed down and began to set a

treatment plan for Madison. We are going back to be admitted to prespiterian

hospital

in 2-3 weeks and she is going to have yet another surgery. Dr. H wants her

to keep her g tube and now place a second tube ( the j tube). We are going to

the other hospital because Dr. H knows and trust the surgent there Dr.

spigland ( she did maddy's surgery the first time).

We also touched on a few more problems. We knew she had Hypoglycemia but now

it turns it out she also has Hyperglcemia!!! When her sugar drops, in an

effort to get it back up we give her more sugar. But then she has like 3 days of

really terrible sugars we're talkin like 523!!!

Now since this has happened so much it has caused her heart to be inlarged.

She has to have a whole cardiac work up but she feels that it may have caused

her right atrial heart damage. Also dropping blood sugars so often can cause

brain damage so now we have to keep an eye out for that but so far she seems

to be ok in that department.

Then as if this wasn't enough it turns out that from the GHT she is begining

early puberty. So now we have to figure out if it's better to stop the GHT.

What a mess. So now we sit and wait till Dr. H gets back from vacation.

But on the up side to things looks like we will make it to the convention

for the first time!!!!
