Guest guest
Dear I am 6 months post-op and eat fresh veggies and fruits every day. I usually have a side salad with dinner or a salad for lunch topped with shrimp, steak or chicken (which I eat first). I didn't eat raw veggies until I was about 2-3 months post-op and only in very small amounts at first. I found that post-op tolerances vary. The key is to eat your protein first and then have your salad or veggies. You cannot anticipate eating ALOT of veggies because after consuming your protein, you just won't have much room.
