Guest guest
I am in flair right now, and going through this post reminds me that i took claritin for my allergies. Could it cause a flair? Pls advise any safest medications that one can take for sore throat and allergies. Also I would like to know more on epsom salt bath. How do you use it ? I saw someone talking about anti-inflammatory. Can somebody please provide me the name? I have been taking Lyosan probitics from Lucy's kitchen. Any other recommendation. > > > > It could be the tylenol, or the reason you took the tylenol ( virus? ). > > I would not think you have undone one year of hard work. I hear this sort of thing can happen but the recovery is quicker. Stay on intro- stage one- easy to handle foods for now. You should feel better soon- I hope so. > > > > PJ > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Epsom salt bath - 2 cups in a very warm bath of water up to your navel. Soak for about 15 minutes, don't rise.I don't know of a legal remedy, but you might check with a compounding pharmacy to see if they can make an antihistamine/decongestant without the fillers. Homemade lemon and honey tea with or without ginger is good for the throat. The honey coats it and the lemon helps cut the mucus.Bromelain is an enzyme extract from the core of a pineapple. If taken with food, it is a digestive enzyme, if take 1 hour before food or 2 hours after, it acts as an anti-inflammatory. You need to be taking 2 to 3 tablets a day depending on the mg of the tablet. We have used Freedas Vitamins (500mg) and I am fairly sure they are SCD legal, but haven't checked the label lately. To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Wed, May 12, 2010 2:57:44 PMSubject: UC Sufferers - Please reply I am in flair right now, and going through this post reminds me that i took claritin for my allergies.
