Guest guest
Hi Everyone Thanks so much for the prayers, I appreciate them all. My surgery went off without a hitch. I was up and walking the day of surgery. By the next day I was walking all around the hospital. Dr. Keshishian did a wonderful job. He was able to do the surgery laprascopic...which I was very happy about. He came to the hospital everyday and checked on me as well as his other patients. Also the nursing staff at the hospital was wonderful. I had a good time joking with a few of them. I was also able to meet a few others who were having the DS surgery. I want to thank Janice and for coming to visit me. It was a very nice treat. I had surgery on Thursday and was released on Sunday. I then went to the Shilo Inn to stay for a few days. I had requested a room with the recliner from Dr. K's office. Unfortunately, they said they could not find my name. They immediately gave me another room minus the recliner, but when I went into the room there was only one bed. My husband and 9 yr old son were with me so I knew that wouldn't work. Hubby ran next door to the comfort Inn, and fortunately they still had the room available that my sister and son checked out of that morning. I didn't realize how difficult it would be getting out of the bed. We have a full size van with reclining Captain seats and so I slept out in my van. Yes, I did sleep in my Van..LOL. The next morning the front desk told my husband that they had a recliner from Dr. K's office in one of the rooms and they would bring it to my room. Yeah, the day was saved. They were wonderful at the Comfort Inn, they kept asking my husband about me and how I felt. All in all the experience was great. Thanks again everyone for your prayers.
