Guest guest
Once I got to 5L demand within a very short while it had to go to constant flow at 5 L 5 demand just doesn't do the job after exertion. Love & Prayers, PeggyFlorida, IPF/UIP 2004"I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly." Beth When you get home, curious as to how the two walks compared. My experience would be with same flow the continuous would win but can often make up the difference by turning the conserver up one liter. But it would vary with every individual. In some cases tests have been done to show no difference but on low flow people mostly. Sometimes with my sinuses, continuous is my only choice. > > Hi everyone, > The RT from my new O2 company was just here. We did 2 six minute walks, one with continuous flow and one with a conserver. And in about 40 minutes I have to leave to go to rehab. I'm tired already!! > Hope everyone has a good day!! > > Beth > Moderator > Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 Dermatomyositis 11/08 >
