Am I doing too many things at once?

I'm feeling uneasy tonight. My 6 yr old ASD son has GI issues common to

many ASD kids and I can't seem to get control of anything for a

substantial period of time. We go through the patterns where BM's might

look normal for a couple of weeks, but then we go back to loose. Today,

he had a horrible cramping attack and we were clueless as to the cause.

We have been chelating since May, although we have taken a few breaks

during illness or constipation cycles. I know that he has a specific

yeast problem and we've been treating it with nystatin and probiotics.

We get it cleared up and start chelating again and then it comes back. I

don't want to go with something stronger for the yeast because it might

overtax the liver and kidneys. He takes all the DAN protocol supps also.

He is also GFCF. What's all this doing to his body? It just seems like

so much at once - enzymes, yeast control, probiotics, fish oil, CLO,

zinc, nu thera, selenium, TMG, etc. and chelation every other weekend.

After the cramping attack today - I thought - what am I doing? I

feel like stopping everything but the diet and letting his body rest, but

maybe that would be the worst thing. We have added everything slowly

over that past few years - I feel uncomfortable and need comments.
