Guest guest
So I was going to compost my used parchment paper - which sayson the package it is compostable but then I realized it is silicone coated. And my reaction was yuk.But before I do an uninformed knee jerk rejection - does anyone have any info on this - is silicone a naturalelement in earth in any case? Or is this a pollutant that I don't wantin my composted earth?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SiliconeSilicones are polymers that include silicon together with carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and sometimes other chemical elements...So anyone have a stance on this? TIA for any info,Mara
