Hi ,

It is great that you are joining this group. There are so many

helpful people on here that have been through so much and are more

than willing to help with any questions you may have.

I have a son, , who is 34 months old. He was born at 34 weeks

weighing 2 lbs. 12 1/2 oz. and 14 1/4 " long. After birth was very

involved and he was hospitalized until he turned three months old.

Then, he weighed 5 lbs. 3 oz. Our story is long, but to make a long

story short, I eventually found this group myself when was 16

months old. By that time, he weighed only 10 lbs. at best. People

on here where very supportive and convinced me to take him to see Dr.

H. There, at 17 months old exactly, he was diagnosed with RSS,

weighing 10 lbs. 10 oz! Anyway, we have come a long way from that

very scary time when I wasn't sure was going to see tomorrow,

but Dr. H got us straigtened out and on track.

Please ask any questions you have. Don't be afraid to ask. This is

where you come to learn, and believe me, you will learn. It sounds

like is doing pretty well. Keep your chin up and and keep

checking in here! :o)

Take care,

Jodi R.

, 34 months, 22 lbs. today! Prilosec, and still spitting up!

UGH.
