Guest guest
, My DH has given my B12 shots approximately every week for decades. If you have someone to give them to you, it's a pretty good way to avoid the digestive system. I like to try to time them for days when I will be running around in the big bad world as they give me a nice energy boost that day. If you have to give them to yourself you use the thigh, I think, and I'm fairly klutzy so I'm not sure how well that work work. But presumably one learns on the job. I wasn't the one who mentioned Questran but my mother had IBS (or at least D from medications) and when they gave her Questran it was a huge help to calm that down. I believe it's actually a medicine for cholesterol but the anti-diarrhea side effect can be good if you need help that way. But I'm not sure about the ingredients in it, it was a long time ago. Also, on a side note, I noticed another post from someone that also has an IBS, not IBD diagnosis and takes questran. Is that for diareeah or cholesterol?
