Getting a helmet in 2 wks...

Hi! I took my son, who is now almost 6 months, to the dr to see if he needed a

helmet at 4 months. His plagio asymmetry was 12 mm and the dr said to wait 2

months. When we went today, his asymmetry was 10mm. So, I decided to go with

the helmet. His head looks MUCH better to me and I was expecting his numbers to

be a lot lower, but I guess I was wrong. I was preparing myself to hear the

news that he needed a helmet, but I am still bummed about it. I am so nervous

for so many reasons...did I make the right decision? If he was improving w/o

the helmet, would he continue to improve? Will his facial assymetry improve?

How will he handle the change?

What is the Cranial Vault Asymmetry? 's went form an 8.2 to a 6.8. What

is normal?

I am so nervous that his facial asymmetry won't improve after the helmet and I'm

putting him through this for no reason. I don't know what to think...
