Hello!

Just got back from Manhattan again (took Ma to see Gagner) and I

missed all of you. How many times have I told everyone that I LOVE

New York?! Took my little girls to see the Rockettes, Times Square,

Rockefeller Center, Staten Island Ferry, etc. and had SO much fun!

I posted this some time ago:

>As far as not being to measure the common channel as well when doing

>lap, Gagner says this is not true. With animal studies, his 100 cm.

>length always was within 5% when they opened the animals up

>afterwards. The open procedure has the same 5-10% variation.

Two questions:

1. Do you think that this variation is only " valid " when it comes to

Gagner (that is, because he is THE laparoscopic surgeon

extraordinaire)? (When answering, you can ignore that last comment

if you wish!)

2. Read another post about someone doing 60-75 cm. CCs. I thought

100 cm. was standard " safe " procedure. What's up? What IS the

standard?

Best,

> Losing more slowly than most, but enjoying renewed health and life

in general.
