Guest guest
I am really stupid. Today at my medically supervised exercise the person said I should see my doctor to get blood pressure medication because I have been running a high top number-but my bottom number is in the low 70's so I am running a blood pressure like 156/72. I am also running a heart rate at rest at 89-98. My 02 is fine. It can be 97! The top blood pressure is the pressure of the blood being sent AWAY from the heart into the lungs. Why would that be so high? My arteries are clear...no plaque. I do have PH but it is mild I think because no one seems concerned about it. What is the concern about my running a high top pressure? And why would I run such a blood pressure at rest? I genuinely don't understand. Joyce Rudy AZ birds
