Guest guest
I don't post here very often, but appreciate all the valuable information I get and wanted to share the information on Abby's latest check-up for growth hormone. She is on 0.7mg per of genotropin 6 times per week. We went to the doctor yesterday and Abby has grown 1.9 cm (about 3/4 inch) since her check-up 3 1/2 months ago. That equates to 6.5 cm per year (about 2.5 in), which wasn't as much as I was hoping for (although it's much better than her growth level before GH), but then again the doctor has not moved her up to the full recommended dosage yet. She will do that at the next 4 month check-up if everything is still going well. I'm embarrassed to say I don't understand all the numbers when they start giving them to you, but the doctor is upping her dosage to what she said was 0.41 compared to 0.48 recommended. I don't even know what measurement that is (ml, mg, ??). Sounds pretty good, though, she is easing her into it and making sure there are no side effects. Abby has headaches and leg pains once in a while, but so far nothing of major concern. Sherri D.
