Dear All :

I am new to this group, have posted once before but mostly read

through all your messages.

I have a daughter who is 2 yr 2 months now and is diagnosed RSS child

at around 8 months. Since then I have tried different alternative

methods on her for her growth. For example : Chiropractic,

homeopathy, Cranial Sacral therapy and still continuing. She is about

19lbs and 31 inches now meeting all her milestones. She is not a very

good eater (like my other one), but able to manage her with good

quantity. She likes to eat herself these days competing with her

sister. She is generally a happy and healthy child.

I have not given her any special medications or hormones or food from

her birth. I am very worried to give her anything other than natural

stuff. ( I am in a way very much against western medicine and doctors

since I believe they don't take a holistic approach).

Her pediatrician is not very aggressive either. My husband thinks

that we should take her to the specialist and give her growth

hormones or anything they suggest. I am not sure what I am doing is

right for her. Very confused.

Can anyone help me understand what are the benefits of taking my

daughter to a specialist ? What can they do to her ? What are the

side effects of anything they may try on her ?

I know many of you moms might have gone through this. Please share

your thoughts.

Regards,

Sangeetha.

Mom of Aish 6yr (non RSS) and Nanni 2 yr (RSS).
