Hey Jenyfer and ,

A couple of things that have worked to keep B's bed dry...

1) Tape the med port shut, and hide it under the jammies!! If the jammies

are 2-piece then I string the connector out between the snaps of the Onesie,

between B's legs, and up his back. Then he can't reach it.

If he's wearing a once piece sleeper (blanket sleeper) I still tape the med

port, and then tape the connector to the front of his diaper, so only the

tube is outside the sleeper. Again, he can't reach it!!

2) If you're having problems with the red tip coming out of the connector

tube.... Take the cap on the connector tube, wrap it around the stem of the

red tip, and slide it underneath, like you're tying off a balloon. The red

tip cannot slide out of the connector tube when you do this.

I also wanted to mention to be careful with the tegaderm. They used it on B

in NY when he had his surgery, and it is truly amazing stuff, BUT it also

caused a severe bubbling of his skin, and when they pulled off the tape,

pieces of his skin came with it!!! They said they had never seen this

reaction to the tegaderm, but it CAN happen! All of the raw skin scabbed up,

and none of it left scars but it sure did look horrible for a while!!

Hope this all helps!

Hugs for you all!
