I don't know if your doctor is expert or not. However, phassociation.org does have a list of the doctors considered expert in the condition. I would want my diagnosis made or confirmed through second opinion by one of them. Just as the vast majority of pulmonologists are not expert on PF, the vast majority of cardiologists are not either.
