Between the Percocet and the short entertainment by Jimmy Buffet,

I've had a great morning. Actually, I don't feel much from the

Percocet - just pain relief. The doctor even told me that if it is

used properly, as in for pain control, you don't get that " high "

that abusers get. Darn! (only joking....)

While Pat is correct in saying that RSS is a form of primodial

dwarfism (or however you spell it), we choose not to use that term,

either. People are more understanding and jump to fewer conclusions

if you just say that your child has a growth disorder. It's a shame

that people tend to be categorized by the terms we use, but it's

human nature and our kids have enough to overcome. If at any time

in Max's life at school we had used the term dwarf, he would have

been teased and isolated more than he was.

Some people, however, do not mind using that term. It is really up

to you and what you feel comfortable with. That in itself makes a

huge difference in how people react.
