Well Liam had his Endo appointment today. It went well. Last time ( 8/18/04)

he was 29 lbs and 35 3/4 " Tall.... The doctor was not happy with his growth

at that time as he was on Growth Hormone since May 18 2004.. His thyroid

level at that time was 5.5 Which is the cut off for high....

Well now to today's Appointment...

He is 32 lbs (3 lb gain in 5 months) and just under 38 inches ( 2 inches in

5 months)....Needless to say they are HAPPY with his growth....He went from

the 5th % in weight to the 10% and from under the 3rd% in height to the 5th%

....So they did not up his growth hormone at this point... Now for the down

side he is back on Synthyroid...His TSH was up to 8.5... I knew it was going

up because he was getting a rash, and the constipation was getting worse, he

also was starting with the rings under his eyes, which is a tell tale sign

for him that his Thyroid is off... The doctor had said that he will most

likely stay on Synthyroid now for life. When he was 3 they took him off of

it to see if his levels would adjust on there own and they have been slowly

going up each time......

That's our up date for now......
