Theresa,

Was it applesauce out of a jar? That stuff made me sick. I had to cook all

apples for a long time. Now, after a year, I can eat them raw- yay. But

processed applesauce was horrible, even baby food applesauce. You have to make

your own- there are always additives. I would peel and core a whole bag of

apples, slow cook them in the crock pot, and freeze in small containers.

I could never handle pureed carrots- not even now. Some people don't tolerate

even some legal foods.

in general. Both will cause some unwanted symptoms at first. It will resolve

eventually. I have seen a lot of people report great results in the first 2

days, then some symptoms after that as their gut flora changes. As long as you

made the applesauce, I wouldn't worry about it as cooked apples are a good food

to try after the intro (as well as ripe bananas). I wouldn't recommend using

commercial products, especially at this point in the diet, though.

the intro diet. only eating chicken, ground beef and the jello. yesterday I

tried pureed carrots and messed up and had some unsweetened applesauce, could

this be why I am bloating today or is it yeast die off? I have been emotional

again today. thanks so much Theresa
