Guest guest
I like mine best for chopping and grating. (We have a joke, that my husband bought it for me one Christmas, because he was tired of being the one to grate sweet potatoes for sweet potato pudding.) I might use a knife and cutting board for half an onion or less, but any more than that, I chunk the onion into the Cuisinart. We don't make anything with grated cheese anymore, but have made Carole Fenster's granola bars in it, and I chop nuts, grate onions and such. I have a real Cuisinart (I think it is more than a dozen years old) so can't comment on the other versions. Mine washes in the dishwasher...which is the kitchen equipment that I REALLY can't live without. Lorilyn > When so many say they like their cuisinart, why? What do you use it > for? Is it a pain to clean, set up, etc...? Do you mean the real > Cuisinart or does any cheap-o Walmart food processor work as well?
