I know they had those in CA and AZ where you could get the turkey cooked and all you had to do was heat stuff up. I did that one year, and believe it or not, it was good! Might be something to check into? Carole

What about water colors?I was watching this guy on ColorSplash the other day on DishNetwork. He was creating watercolor artwork with squirts and splashes of paint and then spraying it with water here and there. It was beautiful and of course it seemed so easy ( I bet it isn't).Of course you may find some other outlet that has nothing to do with painting. Change can be a very good thing. I use to help my husband in the wood shop. He's a carpenter of sorts. My doctor said no more of that. No dust, no chemicals. So it's weird how much I miss going out to the wood shop. I tried wearing a mask but I just can't seem to breathe. Now I work in the flower and vegetable gardens getting them ready for winter. Up until Christmas I'll be pretty busy. But I dread January.I think I'll finish a quilt I started for my daughter. I am at the point that I can't walk without sats dropping quickly.I am not sitting on 6L-hating this thing but when I need it, it is wonderful. I keep my nose lightly coated with Lanocane..yep same thing I use for sketter bites. lol It is numbing and keeps it soft in there. Hey, what ever it takes. I think it just feels like nap time.... shoot been up 2 hours. lol rough life. LOL Take Care, see ya soon... Guest guest
I am glad your visit went well Peggy! Sending love your way! Praying for you to be comforted.God Bless You~Sincerely,Donna (Iowa)To: Breathe-Support Sent: Fri, November 6, 2009 5:03:51 PMSubject: Well, The lady from hospice came and talked with us for probably three hours. , Bill, & me. we all ask questions, got answers. Itwas a very interesting visit. She told us what hospice does for the patient, patient care, patient comfort. They do not change your meds or your 02 L flow. They supply whatever meds you are on. My Dr. will still be MY DR. They do have dr's here in Ocalathat will be approved my care from here but Dr. Antony will order my care. I am not sure that makes since or not. The nurse comes in the AM to do an assessment of my needs. Judy (hospice rep.) was wonderful. Christian lady. prayed when we finished.Wonderful prayer. Hospice has a group of volunteers that will come help with my bath or any needs I have. Then they have Crisis Care for end stage. I know this doesn't make much since so I'll try to do better next time. LOLI am good today. Sitting talking -- how can I not be good. lol THANKS for the support.. love .. and prayers.Love & Prayers, Peggy Florida, IPF/UIP 2004"I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly." Guest guest
PinkJ..... I often 'piggy-back' something MB writes to a member. I can't say it any better than she so I jump in and add "Ditto" for me! MamaSher; 71, IPF 3-2006, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Hi Group, Well I just made "THE" call. is gone to the store so I called hospice. someone will be out around 1 or 2 pm tomorrow. We'll see what they have to say.. can I tell you all I HATE THIS DISEASE. I just feel like this will be such a help for . I talked to my PA yesterday and she said it would be a good idea what they offer and just feel them out. The craziest thing is like I am doing this for someone else. I feel detached from the person who can't go out the front door much less care for herself any longer.. This is a really rough part group, hang on tight. When I get back into bed from the bathroom I just have NO air.. even on 12 L sooo thats the way it is.. I don't know if anyone else has experienced NO AIR but it is painful in your chest. I feel like I need "DRUGS" lol yes a little help will be a good thing. We will see how their plan works then decide. Anyhow please keep us in your prayers. Guest guest
Joyce I'm like you. I'd be traveling 50% of the time if I could afford it. But paying for Ambien CR one month takes away two nights of hotel and paying for Nexium for a month takes away four nights (well if I get it offshore not quite as bad). With a fixed income on disability and high medical expenses, traveling is difficult to afford. > > > > > > From: Bruce <brucemoreland@ ...> > > Subject: Re: Beth > > To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. com > > Date: Monday, November 23, 2009, 12:12 AM > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > Jane > > > > Side effects are similar to regular flu shot.
