Guest guest
I will of course call around and see what is available to us. If we qualify! No driving for perhaps a year. Checkups will determine. Nothing over 5# for 4 wks. I wasn't clear... I'll wait first and see what his needs will be after surgery, then call for whatever assistance we may need. Bruce....agreed to what you wrote. Again, the main hurdle will be "if" we qualify. We should qualify for just about anything now...our savings were shredded during the donut hole last year. May God Bless us all! MamaSher; 71, IPF 3-2006, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Re: sher SherHome health care sure should provide some services. I don't know yourplans but in a situation like this it is quite normal to go from thehospital to some form or rehab and skilled nursing center. They can helpwith all the forms of rehab. Then that pretty well makes home healthcare after that easy to get too. They can help with continued rehab, checking of vitals, and administering medications but the key is that byhaving some nursing care through them you qualify for some aideassistance as well. Please look at all those resources to lessen theburden on yourself and your family.> >> > Thanks ever so much for> telling me about the group you started. Guest guest
Sher Home health care is not connected to income but is simply based on health. Neither is rehab or skilled nursing. Other services may be tied into income, but home health care is a matter of condition and need. Don't let them think that you are at home to take care of him. Make sure they know you are disabled and assume you're not even capable of things you may be, but probably shouldn't be doing. That way you get loving time with him while others do some of the tasks. Oh, and don't say " Lysa will do this or that. " Get what you are entitled to and then you and family can do whatever else is required. > > > > > > Thanks ever so much for > > telling me about the group you started.
