Guest guest
. I use antibiotic ointment. keeps my nose from drying and heals up any sore spots. neti pot works wonders. I do get dry from it but the ointment takes care of that. Love & Prayers, Peggy Florida, IPF/UIP 2004"I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly." Many of us use Ayr or Ocean Spray to help with the nose and with nose bleeds. Also cleansing with a Neti Pot or with a saline spray or solution can help with some of the mucus in the nose. > > Hello to all! It's been a long time since i've asked any questions but I have one now that concerns me. My problem is with the constant nose bleeds and mucus build up. I do take nac. I notice once my nasal passages clog up, it becomes a little hard to breathe. Then I have to use some cotton balls and q-tips to clear my nose. Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Although it's been some time since I've written, I read the messages as much as I can. I don't know where I would be without all of you and all the wonderful information you give everyday. Guest guest
I agree Bruce. I'm on 2L and use a humidifier both on oxygen and bipap. Maybe that's why I don't have the nose problems!Roxanne, 59, South Carolina 2006 Asthma/ PF 2008 PF/ Sarcoidosis/Gerd I pray you enough.....Subject: Re: "Nasal blockage"To: Breathe-Support Date: Sunday, October 25, 2009, 1:13 AM I forget sometimes that everyone doesn't have humidifiers on their oxygen equipment. While some say they are needed at 5 lpm or above and some say 3 lpm or above, all I can say is that personally I couldn't get by without one at any liter flow.. I also think it certainly would vary by season. In the summer, it's easier for most. But when the heat inside is turned on and the relative humidity of the house drops so, I have problems without oxygen so I sure need a humidifier on my oxygen. > > > From: johnnymvaladez58 johnnymvaladez58@ ... > Subject: "Nasal blockage" > To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. com > Date: Saturday, October 24, 2009, 4:44 PM > > > > > > > Hello to all!
